interesting plants in Sugarhouse
We tried to take it easy today since Carol is still recovering from being sick for several days. We decided to run a big loop around Sugarhouse (11th East) and SoSaLa (13th South and Main). It wasn't incredibly exciting, but there were some really interesting plants out like RED marigolds (never seen that before), some kind of vine plant with leaves that were about as big as a bicycle tire, some really big squash plants, and some cute little blue flower with nasty damn thorns that whacked me in the leg. We had shade for most of the run, so we were feeling quite happy.
Stats: 5.24 miles in 59:41 for an 11:24mpm pace
