the Marine Corps way?

After three rest days (two unintentional), I think that I might need to follow baby bro's Marine Corps motto:

PT, PT every day
Builds our bodies the Marine Corps way

Yes - Monday was a planned rest day. Tuesday evening was supposed to be spent on the exercise bike watching Loser. (Instead, I WAS a loser and drank beer while watching it.) Wednesday was spent angry and stomping around the kitchen instead of running at 9pm.

If I were in the Corps, I wouldn't have a choice. I would just do it. No excuses.

Suck it up, wussy!

I have a working out partner here in Charlotte. She wants us to workout HARD 7 days a week which I am not down with. I am at this point walking 3 miles 4 days a week. Brisk 3 miles. Starting tomorrow we will be doing 30 second sprints on the second mile.
I broke down and weighed myself yesterday. First time in nearly a year. It wasn't bnearly as bad as I thought it would be, I've only gained 12 lbs, which reaffirms by thought that everything I have is turning into fat. I feel flabby. Though my two weeks of working out (4 days cardio and anything the other three days) have already made me feel better and firmer in some locations. that s good news.

Oh and I also joined Free online workouts, food tracking, support etc. It's been cool. Mark joined too.

The sprints are going to be shocking (mentally and physically) for a couple of days, but then it's going to be easire and easier and easier. Girl, you are on your way to a marathon!
Me? I just need to get my ass out of the door.

I have to ask, where is the V coming from in Isabelle? I am so confused. I could sign up for another gmail account and use my other name, but I don't know if I can handle another password in my life. Seriously. my brain is clogged.

I totally thought you would "get" that. Maybe only AlyQ is with me on this one. Can you ask her to explain it to you?

I believe I already mentioned my clogged brain issue. Q explained it to V and V agree's with Q that you are one of the most clever people they know.

Did a 2 mile hike today. Feeling a little frustrated that my workout buddy gave me some crap about only doing cardio M-W-F with her and Sat with Mark. She believes we should be doing it 7 days a week. I had to shut her down a little with a comment about my selling & neuroma issues. I sorta hope she felt crappy. (I'm in a pissy mood and it makes me feel better to make people feel crappy. Nice huh?)
