Sub 10mpm!

Woo-hoo! Look at that pace! OK - granted, the 3.95 miles were all gradual downhill, but still - I ran sub-10 for 4 miles! No walk breaks for me this night. I told myself that they (walk breaks) were just silly and unnecessary for a downhill course. And I was right. My plan of attack: run the first mile at normal pace as a warm up; run the next two miles as intervals which loosely translated to 1/2 block of normal pace and 1/2 block of accelerated pace; run the final mile at fast pace. It worked! Even Lizzy was tired by the end after our blazing fast pace.
